As we do every year at Christmas time, we want to help people who are less fortunate than ourselves. This time, we would like to support Hamburger Tafel e.V. 

Hamburger Tafel e.V. are taking responsibility for Hamburg's needy!

They collect surplus food from retailers and manufacturers and distribute it to 31 food distribution points in and around Hamburg.

It's an idea that benefits everyone involved: food retailers and manufacturers take on social responsibility. And those in need receive high-quality food for little or no money – as well as motivation for the future. As a side effect, the amount of waste produced is reduced, which is good for the environment, and valuable resources are conserved.

This is an important project that deserves our support, because unfortunately more and more people in Hamburg are having to rely on it :(
