Hey... my name is Femke. For several years now, I've been struggling with the eating disorder anorexia. It's a battle that can be very lonely and long-lasting. Over the past few years, I kept running into long waiting lists, and it took a long time to get the help I needed. This shows that more and more people are trapped in this struggle and need help.

Piece by piece, I felt like giving up hope... but then there was the Leontienhuis, who literally saved me, and  I am incredibly grateful for that. A place where you receive so much love and you feel understood. A helping hand when you can't do it on your own anymore. They help you fight against that stupid devil insead of your head. 

Thanks to them, I know how to give my life a positive twist again and live again - and so many more people deserve that too! This place runs on sponsorships, so every single year they organize a charity walk and ride, to raise as much money as possible, to be able to help many people with eating disorders the upcoming year. That's why I'm going to cycle with my father to contribute.
