Der Luchs- und Wolfsschutz Bayerischer Wald ist eine kleine Interessengemeinschaft zum Schutz dieser streng geschützen Arten. Wir beobachten den Bestand und machen Kontrollen in den Revieren. Wir sind aktiv in der ehrenamtlichen Beratung von Landwirten und helfen bei der Planung und beim Bau von wolf- und luchsabweisenden Zäunen, verteilen Informationsmaterial und klären Wanderer auf, wie man sich bei Begegnungen mit Luchs und Wolf richtig verhält.
Durch unsere Anwesenheit verhindern wir illegale Jagd auf geschützte Tiere. Wir beobachten, dokumentieren und melden Vorfälle an Behörden und die Polizei. Leider müssen wir auch hin und wieder verunfallte Luchse bergen.

The Bavarian Forest Lynx and Wolf Protection is a small community of interests to protect these strictly protected species. We monitor the population and carry out checks in the areas. We are active in voluntary advice to farmers and help with the planning and construction of wolf and lynx-repellent fences, distribute information material and educate hikers on how to behave correctly when encountering lynx and wolves.
Through our presence we prevent illegal hunting of protected animals. We observe, document and report incidents to authorities and the police. Unfortunately, we also have to rescue lynxes that have had accidents from time to time.
