Ich bin Melani Truzzolino und möchte euch auf meinem aufregenden Weg mitnehmen. Ab Februar 2023 werde ich ein Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr in Mexiko machen und in einem sozialem Projekt arbeiten.

Wieso möchte ich ein Auslandsjahr machen? 

Jetzt nach dem Schulabschluss habe ich die Gelegenheit, Zeit für mich zu nutzen, bevor ich mich für einen Beruf festlege. Es war schon immer ein Traum von mir ein Auslandsjahr machen zu können, bei dem ich in irgendeine Richtung Tieren oder Menschen sozial helfen und unterstützen kann. Ich möchte Menschen begegnen, mit denen ich im Alltag sonst weniger zu tun habe und ein besseres Verständnis entwickeln, für Menschen in ihren unterschiedlichen Lebenssituationen.  Ebenso ist es ein Ziel von mir meine Persönlichkeit zu stärken und mich in dieser Zeit weiterzuentwickeln. Indem ich Offenheit und Neugier beweise, stärke ich meine Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit genauso wie meine Selbstständigkeit. Das FSJ bietet mir die Möglichkeit, mich beruflich zu orientieren und mir über meine beruflichen und persönlichen Ziele klar zu werden. Das FSJ hilft mir mich selber besser und auch neue Menschen kennenzulernen. Besonders möchte ich diese drei Fragen aufklären: Was ist mir wichtig? Was will ich wirklich? Wo sind meine Stärken? Was will ich mit meinem Leben machen?

Warum in Mexiko? 
Gerade Mexiko ist genau richtig für meine Weiterentwicklung. Die Mexikanische Kultur ist sehr bunt, laut und lebensfroh, hat sehr viele Traditionen und eine interessante Historische Vergangenheit. Ich höre ständig das die Menschen hier sehr offen, gastfreundlich sind und man bei Ihnen immer herzlich Willkommen ist. Die Mentalität allgemein in Lateinamerikanischen Ländern ist sehr offen und fröhlich.  Die große Tier- und Pflanzenvielfalt gefällt mir besonders, somit kann ich mich im sozialen Bereich oder im Tierschutz engagieren. Natürlich möchte ich auch die beliebten Spezialitäten in Mexiko probieren wie zum Beispiel Tacos, vielleicht wir das mein neuer Pasta Ersatz :) Vorallem aber auch möchte ich die Vielfalt der Landschaft und Natur erkunden. Besonders freue ich mich auf die besonderen Feiertage wie "los dias de los muertos" aber auch alle anderen Feiertage und Feste, die besonders schön gefeiert werden. Vieles an Mexiko begeistert mich und genau deswegen möchte ich dieses Land und seine Kultur in vollen Zügen kennenlernen. 

Ich würde mich sehr über eine kleine Spende freuen, wodurch ich mein Auslandsjahr in Mexiko finanzieren werde. Es ist jedem überlassen, wie viel er spenden möchte. Danke schon mal vom ganzen Herzen, für jeden einzelnen von euch für eure große Unterstützung!

My name is Melani Truzzolino and I would like to accompany you on my exciting path. On February 2023 I will do a voluntary social year in Mexico and work in a social project.

Why do I want to do a year abroad?

Now that I have finished school, I have the opportunity to take time for myself before I commit to a career. It has always been a dream of mine to do a year abroad where I can help and support animals or people socially in any direction. I would like to meet people with whom I would otherwise have less to do in everyday life and to develop a better understanding for the people in their different life situations. It is also one of my goals to strengthen my personality and develop myself further during this time. By showing openness and curiosity, I strengthen my team and communication skills as well as my independence. The FSJ offers me the opportunity to orient myself professionally and to become clear about my professional and personal goals. The FSJ helps me to better myself and to meet new people. I would like to clarify these three questions in particular: What is important to me? What do I really want? Where are my strengths? What do I want to do with my life?

Why in Mexico?
Mexico is exactly the right place for my further development. The Mexican culture is very colourful, loud and full of life, has many traditions and an interesting historical past. I keep hearing that the people here are very open, hospitable and always give you a warm welcome. The general mentality in Latin American countries is very open and happy. I particularly like the great variety of animals and plants, so I can get involved in social work or animal welfare. Of course I would also like to try the popular specialties in Mexico such as tacos, maybe that will be my new pasta substitute :) But above all I would like to explore the diversity of the landscape and nature. I'm particularly looking forward to the special holidays like "los dias de los muertos" but also all other holidays and festivals that are celebrated in a particularly beautiful way. A lot about Mexico inspires me and that's exactly why I want to get to know this country and its culture to the fullest.
